How do I hang my stained glass piece?

Oooo I'm so glad you asked! All of my pieces come with rings and a string for easy hanging. You can display them in a window using a nail by the window or a sturdy suction cup hook (make sure it’s rated for the weight of the piece!!), or hang them from a nail or hook in the wall if you'd prefer them displayed against a solid background. Could be cool if this wall gets direct sun...just sayin.

Here are a few tips to help:

• For windows: Use a nail close by the window or high-quality suction cup hook on clean glass and check it regularly to make sure it's secure. Avoid placing in spots with extreme temperature changes!
• For walls: Use a wall hook, nail, or picture hanger that can support the weight of the piece.
• Avoid direct impact: While glass is strong, it’s still fragile! Keep it in a spot where it won’t be bumped or jostled.

Is stained glass safe to handle?

Yes! It’s safe to handle your stained glass piece at home. I do use 60/40 solder (60% tin, 40% lead), which is common in stained glass making. As a precaution, please wash yo hands after handling and keep pieces out of reach of children and pets.

How should I care for my stained glass?

Each piece is polished with a protective wax to help preserve the finish and slow oxidation. Over time, the solder may naturally dull. To restore its shine, gently buff the piece with a soft, dry cloth, I think cotton or microfiber works best!
Avoid water, chemical cleaners, or abrasive materials as these can damage the solder and patina. #science

When will my order ship?

Orders are typically shipped within 5–7 business days. I'm just one gal holding it down and doing my best! You'll receive a confirmation email once your order is on its way. Delivery times vary depending on your location :-)

Do you ship internationally?

Currently, I offer domestic shipping within the United State only. If you’re outside of the U.S. and would like to place an order, reach out through the contact form, I’m happy to explore options with you (a hand delivery if you live somewhere cool??).

What is your packaging made of?

Every piece is packed with tender, loving care using a mix of recycled, recyclable, and repurposed materials. All plastic packaging (like bubble wrap or foam) I do my best to salvage from local businesses to reduce waste. All other materials used are recyclable! My goal is to keep your piece safe and tread lightly on the planet. Double win!

What if my item arrives damaged?

I pack everything as securely as I can, but if something breaks in transit, please send clear photos of the damage and the packaging within 48 hours of delivery. We’ll work together to either repair the piece or find another solution!

What happens if my order gets lost in the mail?

Uh oh! Snail mail sometimes does us dirty. If your item doesn’t arrive, get in touch using the contact form!

Can I return or exchange my order?

All sales are final. I’m a one gal studio and every piece is made by hand, which means I can’t accept returns or exchanges once an order is placed.
